The Goosecross Library Wine Auction is Now Closed!
Why an auction? Bottom line, to have fun and to offer a new experience in the procurement of your favorite wines. It was an opportunity for us to present a unique method to sell and buy wines that other wineries aren’t approaching.
Our very first auction was presented last February (2010) with some incredible opportunities for Valentine’s Day gifts. We had so many folks participate (taking us by complete surprise) that we decided to do it again.
You may recall that we had a few technical hiccups in our first attempt. This time around, the auction worked flawlessly and the number of participants and lucky winners more than doubled!
Our ”Goosecross Library Wine Auction” presented limited selections of our Winemaker’s perfectly-aged Goosecross wines from his private cellar by auction – with many of the bid prices starting at 40% below retail. And, we had some lucky winners!
Thank you to all that participated and we hope to see you back when we offer our next auction – planned for late fall 2010 – just in time for your holiday dinner tables and to fulfill your desire for unique gifts.
