Wine Basics Class Goosecross University

Join us for a morning of fun and down to earth education here at our winery in the beautiful Napa Valley. Become acquainted, or reacquainted with the fundamental joys of wine by attending our free Wine Basics Class. This class has been offered since 1995!

We are pleased to announce that we now offer Wine Basics year-round, every Saturday morning at 10:30!

Tours at Goosecross THE ESTATE WINEGROWING TOUR (With grape harvest and crush focus from August through October) Presented by Goosecross University

Join Nancy Hawks Miller, a 20 year veteran of the industry and our Director of Education!

The Estate Winegrowing Tour takes you right into our beautiful 10 acre estate vineyard for an up-close and personal look at the growing conditions and management techniques essential for producing world class wine.

Your tour will include a brief visit to the winery to explore the way winemaking techniques further influence quality and character.

Beginning in August, as harvest approaches, the tour focuses on key decisions the winemaker must make in the vineyard and winery to optimize quality.

This 1.5 hour tour concludes with a private tasting of Goosecross Cellars wines to complete your experience. Saluté!

Our tour is offered Saturday afternoons at 2:30 from May through October. The tour is limited to eight people. $20.00 per person.

Private Tours

For a totally customized look at our vineyard and winery, complete with a private tasting, please call 800-276-9210 for an appointment with our Director of Education. Private tours and tastings are available year-round. They’re $25.00 per person and subject to availability.

Throw out the old rules about wine and food pairing and discover how easy it is to create a match made in heaven! Join our Director of Education and the Executive Chef at the Napa Valley Grille for a fun and informative exploration of the natural synergy between food and wine.

This approximately 3-hour event is available to parties of 6 or more. It highlights several approaches to food and wine pairing and includes a delectable multi-course lunch or dinner paired with the distinctive wines of Goosecross Cellars.
