When you’re in the mood for intensity, pull the cork on this one! Deep, dark flavors are a natural for mountain fruit. The water and nutrient-stressed vines at our Howell Mountain site yield tiny grapes that almost look like purple peas! The increased skin to juice ratio pumps up the volume when it comes to 
color, flavor, texture and tannin.
This is full-on 100% Cabernet, rich with black cherry, cocoa, tobacco, cedar and a bit of smoke and spice.
Howell Mountain Cabernet and food: Substantial wine calls for substantial food, so enjoy this with a good steak or slow-cooked dishes like osso-buco, short ribs and other hearty fare. From Colleen’s recipe collection, we recommend Traditional Style Beef Shanks.
I visited your tasting room on June 1st via Platypus tour. This is the first time in Napa valley area and definitely first wine tasting adventure.
Platypus tour was excellent. Our entertainer/Driver was Scott Goldsmith.
Jose was entertaining my wife and I at the tasting room. Needless to say, we had a case of wine shipped to our home to Florida. Jose introduce me to the Cabernet HM. It was exceptional. Two bottles was part of the case that we ordered. I am looking forward to have that with rack of Lamb. My wife ended up order two Bottle with chocolate to be sent to her sister in Green Bay WI.
Your staff are doing the wonderful Job. We will definitely order more fermented grapes from you in the future.
